Welcome to My Three Aspies and the world of AAAAAH!
Life with Autism, Asthma, Allergies, Aspergers Syndrome, ADHD and Hope.
I live a crazy busy life, jammed packed full of challenging and rewarding adventures. The biggest adventure is raising my three sons with the five A's, and a dash of hope. A loony bin formula otherwise known as (and often loudly expressed as) AAAAAH!
Our colourful household consists of my dedicated husband Andrew, Casey (12), who has Asthma, Allergies and Aspergers Syndrome(AS); Bailey (10) who has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD); and Archie (7) who has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and third child syndrome (LOUD)!
Robyn Campbell is the busy mother of three fantastic boys who are all on the Autism Spectrum. As well as being a Mum and a writer, she runs two photography business' with her husband. She is a Licentiate with the Australian Institute of Professional Photography. In her spare time she Pastors to kids, runs an entertaining playgroup and is an enthusiastic Cub Scout Leader. (AKA "Raksha").
Robyn is also a dedicated children’s disability advocate who has spoken in forums on the current diagnosis rates of children with Autism and ADHD. She has gained extensive experience in helping parents through the mine fields of diagnosis, early intervention and parent support options.
Robyn is available to speak at Primary Schools in and around Melbourne for Professional Development in the areas of Autism, Aspergers, Sensory Processing and 2e (twice exceptional) integration for students. More information can be found HERE.
Currently, she is writing her second book that takes a humorous look at living with three children with Aspergers Syndrome. Robyn is also in the research phase of developing a fully immersive sculptural, photographic, and visual media exhibition to raise awareness for ADHD.
Aspergers, ADHD, asthma, and life-threatening allergies? A lifetime of emergency rooms, doctors and therapists? Are you serious? Why? How? Who do I ask? Who do I trust? Where will we go? How will we be able to afford this? What do other parents do? Will my child ever be normal? Why is this so painful? Why am I so determined to “fix” this?
Please feel free to contact Robyn through the contact page for speaking and writing engagements or just for a chat!
